Determine task scheduling

Scheduling records when you plan to perform the strategy task. Considerations include the following.

1. Is the task date-based or usage-based? For example, certain safety inspections will be date-based, while a preventive maintenance service is generally usage-based.
2. If usage-based, what is the appropriate usage measure? For example, should an engine changeout be based on engine hours or the quantity of fuel consumed?
3. What is the appropriate scheduling method? In AMT there are a number of methods.
   • Normal.
   • Parent suppression.
   • Sibling suppression.
   • Dependency.
   • Inspection.
