Fleet Administration

Fleets are the levels below Site in the asset hierarchy. Navigate to Setup & AdminEquipment > Fleet Administration screen to add, edit and delete fleets in AMT.

Field Description

Fleet

Name of the fleet.

Site

Site to which the fleet belongs.

Pricing Group

Parts can be grouped by price. The pricing group is usually the default pricing group. However, if the site’s parts are priced at a special rate, that is, include a discount, then a specific pricing group can be selected.

Pricing groups are set up in the System Administration area of AMT, and require special parts pricing to be imported or entered into AMT.

Default Select for the fleet to be the default fleet.

Service Interval

Standard interval between services, for example 250 hours. The service interval is used in the Service Accuracy report.

Tolerance%:

A KPI benchmark used in the Service Accuracy report to determine which services were performed within an acceptable tolerance of the standard service interval, for example 10%.

Availability Formula

Currently there are two options to work out asset availability.

  • Physical availability (based on scheduled/calendar hours).

  • Mechanical availability (based on operating hours).

Set Availability Calculation Parameters

Opens a special function designed to enable Availability Forecasting for the fleet.

Standard Job Parts Pricing Adjustment Factors

Use this function to manually adjust the pricing of parts for specific part types for this fleet. For example, if fluid was a specific part type, then you could increase the price of all fluid parts for this fleet by 10% (enter into AMT 0.1) using this function.
