Timesheet
The timesheet function in AMT has been designed as a simple solution to review and capture the actual hours worked by employees. It is not intended to replace existing payroll or ERP systems.
There are two modes where the timesheet capture process will apply:
- AMT is used as the work order system – actual hours are entered into the timesheet form. The actual hours will update the work order operation with the actual duration and the work order cost.
- The timesheet function is used purely for data capture and reporting purposes – actual labour costs will not update the work order as these will come from the payroll or ERP system. The timesheet form will be used purely for entering and reporting on employee work time.
The capturing of employee timesheets is essential for some organisations. This information includes: the productivity, actual hours, and labour rate for each work order.
Entering timesheet data via the timesheet form is restricted to the work order operations, which are linked to equipment that you have access to, based on the Branch or Site restrictions of your User account.
