Checklist Templates

Checklist templates in AMT drive the mobile digitisation process. The templates provide flexibility to format the mobile device form as well as the digital content to be collected for inspections, safety, work tasks and notifications.

Checklist template management is a back-office process that:

  • requires no technical or programming skills.

  • is easy to learn.

  • is flexible.

Checklist template management has multiple question types available for selection. Questions can be introduced in whatever order is needed for the field process, and range from Yes/No questions to lists where the user needs to select one, multiple or all of the items in the list for a valid answer. Measurement or Usage questions allow configuration to display the history of the last eight readings on the device, and provide another update process back to the standard AMT processes for recording Measurements and Usage readings.

The concept of a Favourite question is configuration that allows a question to be re-used across multiple templates. When a question is identified as a favourite, it is tagged with the template versions that use it. Updating the favourite question then pushes updates to all the templates referenced and updates their versions.

On the Home screen, click the Checklist Templates icon to open the Checklist Templates screen.
