Create a New Notification

A Notification can be created directly from the Notification Summary screen by clicking the + Create New button. This displays a screen that lists the mandatory or important fields needed to create a Notification. Red dots indicate the question is mandatory. Orange dots indicate the question is required, but you don't need to provide an answer if you provide reasonable justification..

Title	Description
Title	Describe the issue to which the Notification relates.
Notification Type	Select a Notification Type from the drop-down list. Validates against the Notification Type database table.
Asset	Select an Equipment from the drop-down list. Validates against the EqpPlans database table.
Component Code	Select a Component Code from the drop-down list. If no Component Code is entered, the AMT Configuration default will be used. Validates against the Component Codes database table.
Notification Priority	Select a Priority Code from the drop-down list. Validates against the Priority database table.
Required By	Enter a Required By date by selecting a date using the calendar. This field can only be today or a future date.

Once the Notification fields have been completed, the Notification Detail screen will display and additional fields can be entered as needed. Examples might be initial damage and cause observations, photographic evidence of the issue, planning group or work group if different from those associated with the equipment record.
