High-Cost Non-Strategy Work Orders

The High-Cost Non-Strategy Work Orders Insight highlights work orders above a certain value threshold that have not been matched to an existing task and suggests either new tasks to be created, or the code to be changed on the work order.

The Insight identifies completed work orders that are not linked to a defined maintenance strategy, yet represent a significant cost exposure. These work orders can materially impact total maintenance spend because, unlike strategy-based work, they are not governed by planned frequencies, scope or budget expectations.

This Insight highlights the top 'n' highest-cost non-strategy work orders based on total cost (parts, labour and miscellaneous). By surfacing these items, the Insight helps users quickly identify unplanned, incorrectly coded or exceptional maintenance activity that my warrant further investigation, recoding or incorporation into an existing strategy.
