Before you can start scheduling in XECUTE, you need to prepare the foundation for your planning environment. This section explains the one-off setup work that makes everything else possible.

Initial setup is about creating a consistent framework for your project. It ensures that every site you create uses the same definitions for key elements like activities, resources, and reporting fields. Without this foundation, you won’t be able to calculate reserves, assign equipment, or generate a valid schedule.

You’ll open Config, connect to your environment, and establish the global settings that underpin all scheduling scenarios.
