Data views

A data view is a set of filters that is used to extract data from the specified model locations into a temporary data table. This a pre-filter of the data contained within the model that allows you to minimise the volume of data assigned to each analysis report and chart.

The data table is then used as the source of data for the analysis reports and charts. The data table is created at run time, from the live data, when the associated analysis report and chart is activated.

A single data view can be used by multiple analysis reports and charts.
