To align text or change the text orientation:
1. | Open the Chart Designer dialog box. |
2. | Select the appropriate menu option for the element you want to format (titles, legends, footnotes or axis titles). |
3. | Click the Layout tab. |

All lines of text are aligned on the right margin. |

All lines of text are centered horizontally. |

When you rotate text up or down, the vertical and horizontal alignment are still relative to the text and not to the bounding box. In other words, text displayed with up orientation and left alignment is actually flush against the bottom of the bounding box, not the left side. |
