Batch Output Reports allows you to group multiple reports into a batch that you can run at once. You can quickly generate reports from multiple scenarios from one screen, and output to a single directory for easy collation and printing.
To create a new Batch Output Report:
1. | Select Tools > Batch Output Reports. |
2. | Click New. |
3. | Enter a unique name for the report. |
4. | Select the report and click Edit. The Batch Output dialog is divided into tabs for each reports type. By default, all fields are empty. Available fields depend on which tab you select. |
5. | Select the tab of the report that you want to add to the batch. |
6. | Select the report that you want to use in the Report Name / Plot Name / Chart Name field drop-down list in each tab. The remaining fields populate with default values for the selected report. |
7. | Click the Activate field to activate the report. XPAC will display a tick to indicate that the selected report is part of the batch. |
8. | Repeat steps 5 to 7 for each report that you want to add to the batch. |
9. | Click OK. |
To run a Batch Output Report:
1. | In the Batch Output Reports dialog, select the batch that you want to run. |
2. | Click the Browse button to assign an output directory for your batch. If you decide not to specify a directory, this field defaults to the same directory as your project. |
3. | If required, select the Append current date/time to directory name check box to add the date and time to the directory name. |
4. | Click Run to start processing the batch. A progress bar displays, followed by a confirmation dialog. Each report is saved in the specified output directory. |
You can run multiple batches simultaneously by pressing Ctrl and selecting each batch name, then clicking Run. |
The available output options depend on which report type you select.
