A Calendar, also referred to as a Calendar Database, is used in XPAC to define the scheduling time periods and to store time based information that is used in scheduling. It is a hierarchical database, made up of data fields and records in the same way as your main database. Data may be imported into a calendar database and XCMs may be run over your calendar database to assign data.

Data stored in a calendar

The minimum data that must be stored in your calendar is the start date for the time period. Other data which may be stored includes the following:

The fleet size for each resource;
Any of the period delays (unplanned maintenance, industrial, weather, etc) for each resource;
The production rate for production resources; and
The production target for target resources.
