You can use Gantt charts to display schedule tasks over time in a graphical format. A Gantt chart consists of schedule tasks listed down the page and time intervals listed across the page.

The schedule tasks may include upper and lower level database records, resources, activities or classifications. The occurrence of each task is indicated by a bar which is positioned in the appropriate time interval, according to the schedule. The bars may be annotated, coloured and/or shaded. A table of schedule results for each time period may also be displayed on the bottom of the Gantt chart.
