The Activity Areas tab lists activity areas and their properties in a grid layout. Each row in the grid represents an activity area and the columns hold the field values.
Selecting rows in the grid will select the areas in the 3D Scene.
The Activity Areas menu above the grid controls the display options for the activity areas.

Resource colour is configured in XECUTE Config > Configuration > Resources |

| 12 | Notifications | A yellow notification shows the number of Activity areas that need attention. Mouse over the notification for a summary tooltip, for more details click the Warnings/Schedule Status bar in lower left of the application window.

The table below describes the Activity Area grid columns.
Actions can be performed on one or more selected activity areas, right click the selected rows to open the menu.
Mined out areas have a limited set of available actions .

| Zoom To | Zooms the scene to the selected activity areas. | 
| Recreate | Recreates the activity area shape. Will also re-reserve the area if Calculation Mode is set to On Change (recommended). | 
| Re-evaluate | Re-reserves the activity area. If Calculation Mode is On Demand the area must have a status of Sliced before it can be re-evaluated. | 
| Calculation Mode | Set the activity area to re-reserve on demand or on change. | 
| Locking | Lock the selected activity areas. | 
| Assign Resources | Opens the Assign Resources panel to assign resources to the areas. | 
| Assign Destinations | Opens the Assign Destinations panel to assign destinations to the areas. | 
| Delay Until | Opens the Set Delay Until Date control to add defer when activity area can be scheduled in the Gantt. | 
| Update Rate Factor | Opens the dialog to update the activity area rate factor. | 
| Change Activity | Change the activity type for the selected areas. | 
| Change Mining Level | Change the mining level for the selected activity areas. | 
| Clone | Clone the selected activity areas. | 
| Merge | Merge two adjacent activity areas. | 
| Delete | Delete the activity areas. | 
The grid can be filtered using the search bar found at the upper right of the tab window - this will filter the activity areas based on a fuzzy text match.
To filter a column on the field values or build filter rules hover over the column header and click the Funnel icon.
             
        
Filter rules can also be set for any field by right-clicking a column header > Filter Editor. The filter editor allows for compound filter rules.
             
        
Compound filter rules can also be opened by clicking the Pencil icon in the lower left of the grid.
             
        
A summary of the applied filters is shown in the lower left of the tab window, turn the filter ON\OFF by clicking the check box to the left of the filter summary.
             
        
Selecting a single row highlights the activity area in the 3D Scene. You can select multiple rows using the Ctrl and Shift keys. Likewise, selecting one or more activity areas in the 3D Scene will highlight them in the grid.
Copy and Paste to Excel
The selected rows can be copied to Excel by copying (Ctrl+C) and then pasting (Ctrl+V) in Excel.
             
        
             
        
Columns can also be hidden with the Column Chooser option. Right-click the column header to open the context menu.
             
        
To change the order of a column, click the header, then drag and drop
