The Border tab lets you specify the border style, colour and placement for selected cell/s.
The functionality described in this topic is similar to the formatting options available in an MS Excel spreadsheet. |
You can access border formatting (while in design mode) by:
• | selecting Format > Border. |
• | right-clicking cell/s and selecting Format Cells. Then click the Border tab. |
The table below describes the options available in the Border tab:
Option |
Description |
Line Style |
Lets you select the type of line that you want to apply to selected cell/s. |
Line colour |
Lets you select the colour to use for the border. |
After selecting a border style and colour, you can specify which edges (of the selected cell/s) to apply borders to.
You can specify which edges to apply borders to by clicking:
• | the required border button/s |
• | the relevant border in the preview area. |
XPAC displays a preview of the border style, colour and placement in the preview pane.
If required, you can remove a border by clicking its button, or clicking the relevant border in the preview area. |
