The Font tab lets you specify the font, style, size and colour of text in selected cell/s.
The functionality described in this topic is similar to the formatting options available in an MS Excel spreadsheet. |
You can access font formatting (while in design mode) by:
• | selecting Format > Font. |
• | right-clicking cell/s and selecting Format Cells. Then click the Font tab. |
• | clicking Font on the Format toolbar. |
The table below describes the options available in the Font tab:

Font |
Lets you specify a font to apply to cell contents, for example, Arial, Times New Roman, etc.

Font style |
Lets you specify the font style to apply to cell contents, for example, bold, italic, etc.

Size |
Lets you specify the font size to apply to selected cells.

||||||||
Effects |
Lets you apply font effects to selected cell/s, for example, strikeout (strikethrough) and underlining. You can also select a Color to apply to the font.

Displays a preview of the font that you specified. |

Script |
Lets you specify the script options for the font. For example, Arial font contains information for Western script, and eight other script types including: Hebrew, Arabic, Greek, Turkish, Baltic, Central European, Cyrillic and Vietnamese. |
Once you have set the font formatting that you want to use, you can click Repeat Font on the Format toolbar to use the last colour that you specified. |
