Data Field Import

This page only displays when you are creating a new XPAC project.

When you create a new XPAC project, if required, you can import data fields from another XPAC project into the main database using the Data Field Import page using a VTS, TXT or ASC file. See Data field export for more information. Otherwise, click Next to proceed to the next page.

Importing data fields into the main database:

1.	Select the Import Existing Data Fields check box. The Import File field displays.

2.	Click Browse. A Windows Explorer window displays.

3.	Navigate to the folder containing the file that you want to import.

4.	Select the file and click Open. The Data Field Import page redisplays.

5.	Click Finish.

XPAC imports the data fields as specified by the file. If required, you can edit the data fields at a later stage.
