Export data file header

When you export data from an XPAC database, the file will automatically have an XPAC header attached to it. This header can then be used by XPAC to define the file format for importation into some other XPAC database.

The file header describes how the data is formatted in the file. An example of a file header is provided below.

Data file headers can also be used to control how data is exported. For example, you may have an existing data export file that you want to update. If this file is selected as the export file, then the header will be read and used for the initial field setup in the data export template. Then when you proceed with exporting the data, the selected file will be over-written.
