Import and export roster exceptions

It is possible to import and export all roster exceptions in your project from the All Items tab and from any resource on the Scenario tab. It is also possible to import or export individual roster exceptions.

Export all roster exceptions

To export all roster exceptions in your project, go to the Scenario tab and click on Roster Exceptions in the tree structure. This can be under any resource in any scenario. Select Export Roster Exceptions from the right click menu and you will be asked for a <filename> for the export file. This can also be done from the All Items tab.

The export file can then be imported into other XPAC7 projects.

Export an individual roster exception

To export individual roster exceptions in your project, go to the Scenario tab and click on the required roster exception in the tree structure. This can be under any resource in any scenario. Select Export Name Roster Exceptions from the right click menu and you will be asked for a <filename> for the export file. This can also be done from the All Items tab.

This export file can then be imported into other XPAC7 projects.

Import all roster exceptions

Warning

All existing roster exceptions will be deleted when you import roster exceptions.

 

To import all roster exceptions from a file into your project, go to the Scenario tab and click on Roster Exceptions in the tree structure. This can be under any resource in any scenario. Select Import Roster Exceptions from the right click menu and you will be asked for the import <filename>. This can also be done from the All Items tab.

All of the imported roster exceptions will now be displayed in the roster exception list.

Import individual roster exception

To import individual roster exceptions from a file into your project, go to the Scenario tab and click on the required roster exception in the tree structure. This can be under any resource in any scenario. Select Import Name Roster Exceptions from the right click menu and you will be asked for the import <filename>. This can also be done from the All Items tab.

XPAC will display a dialog box that will ask you to select the method for how XPAC will perform the import. You can Overwrite the existing roster exceptions or Append the imported roster exceptions to the existing ones (you can also Cancel the action at this point).
