You can import and export legend details for transferral between spatial data plots, or between XPAC projects.

You can only import and export legends when the Legend Type is set to a user defined legend (for example, a user defined database legend, a user defined activity legend or a user defined period legend).

To export a legend:
| 1. | Right-click the data sheet and select Export Legend. A Windows Explorer window displays. |
| 2. | Navigate to the folder in which you want to save the file. |
| 3. | Type a name for the file. |
XPAC exports the legend as an XPAC7 Legend File to the specified location.
To import a legend:

Importing a legend overwrites any existing legend details.

| 1. | Right-click the data sheet and select . A Windows Explorer window displays. |
| 2. | Navigate to the folder containing the legend file that you want to import. |
| 3. | Select the file and click . |
