Setting up a user defined period legend

A user defined period legend lets you specify the shading for blocks based on the period in which the block is scheduled for mining.

If a block is scheduled for mining in multiple periods, XPAC shades the relevant proportions of the block accordingly.

1.	Select User Defined Period Legend from the drop-down list. Options to define a period legend display.

2.	Complete the settings as required (see table below).

The table below describes the settings that you can use to set up a user defined period legend:

Attribute	Description	Example
Legend Title	Type a name for the legend to be used when printing the legend.	Legend
Label	Type a label for each activity that you want to include.	2012\Qtr1\Jan
First Period	Select a period from the drop-down list.	1 : 2012\Qtr1\Jan
Last Period	Select the same period as you selected from the First Period drop-down list. Note: If required, you can set this value to something other than the first period. For example, this can be useful if you have a monthly calendar but want to display values in years.	1 : 2012\Qtr1\Jan
Style	Specify a colour for the increment (see Hatch Pattern for more information).	N/A
Texture Scale	Specify the texture scale (see Texture Scale for more information).	N/A
