The centre pane of the Range Selection window contains the complete database tree structure and it is used to select records for inclusion/exclusion in the selected range.
Upper and lower level records are selected by clicking in the open square to the left of the record name. A black tick mark is placed in the square after a record has been selected. To remove a record from the range, click on the black tick for that record and the tick will be removed.
If an upper level record has a grey tick mark against it, then some of that record's children are included in the range and some are excluded. If an upper level record has a black tick mark against it, then all of that record's children are included in the range.
Records can be selected for inclusion or exclusion in the database range at any level of the database, including the Top level. If an upper level record is ticked for inclusion, then all of its children records will also be ticked.
