The level tree displays the hierarchical structure of the database that you are currently viewing, for example:
XPAC displays the level tree for each type of database differently, for example:
• | in the main database, each level represents a logical subdivision of the deposit, stockpiles, and dumps |
• | in a calendar or results database, each level represents a logical subdivision of the scheduling time frame |
• | in a parameters database, you can set up database levels to represent entities as required. |
You can change the level names and icons that display in the level tree in the Project Properties window. |
The level tree may be used to select records to be displayed in the data sheet.
In every XPAC database there is a level 0, which cannot be edited.
• | In a Main database there may be three records at level 0, namely Deposit, Stockpiles and Dumps. |
• | In a Calendar, Parameter or Results database, there will only be one record at level 0 and it will always be called Top. |
The level names for your database are set up when you initially create the database. They may be changed later from the Project Properties window.
