After setting up a database import template, it is possible to save the template so that it can later be loaded for use with other import files.
After you have set up the details for a database import template, click Save on the lower right of any of the template windows. XPAC will display the following window, listing the database import templates that have previously been saved:
Type a new name for the current template and then click OK to save the template.
If you have already created a database import template and saved it, then it can be loaded for use with other import files. From any of the Database Import Template dialog boxes, click Load on the lower right. XPAC will display the following window:
Select any template in the list, then click OK to load the template. You can make changes to the template as required, however they will not be saved unless you do so manually.
When you are loading or saving database import templates, it is possible to delete a template from the list. Select the template that you want to delete, then right-click and select Delete from the context menu.
When you are loading or saving database import templates, it is possible to rename a template in the list. Select the template that you want to rename, then right-click and select Rename from the context menu. Type a new name for the template.
