Output path rows
The rows of the output path contain the scheduled steps. They are influenced by the Input Path, the resource capacity in each time period and the Output Paths for the other resources in the scenario.
Output path columns
The information that is displayed in the columns of the Output Path is called the Path Fields. You can select which fields are displayed. The Path Fields are accessed from the right click menu.
End of Period Marker - EOP
When the capacity of the resource has been reached in the Output Path, for each time period, there will be an end of period marker. This consists of a line in the with the letters in the Scheduling Task column, followed by the time period number and the full path name for the time period.
The Start Date and Finish Date fields will display the start date for the next time period and the finish date for the current time period, which will both be the same. Many of the other fields displayed in the will be blank for the end of period markers.
End of Schedule Marker - EOS
When the last scheduled step in an does not coincide with the end of a time period, an end of schedule marker is displayed. This consists of a line with the words "End of Schedule" in the column.
The and fields will display the finish date for the last scheduled step. Many of the other fields displayed in the Output Path will be blank for the end of schedule markers.
Re-Calculation
When a change is made somewhere in the schedule setup, for example to an input path or production rate, XPAC will mark all of the steps that are affected by this change in the in red text. This indicates that the data is no longer correct, however it may still be useful as it can still provide an indication of the time required to schedule the step.
Once an is marked in this way the whole schedule should be recalculated using the button. There is currently no way that the schedule can be calculated for a single resource.
To search for records in the output path:
You can use the search function to locate specific database records and other items within the path.
