When you have set up the data for your report in report writer, you can run it over the current active schedule to generate results. The schedule should be fully calculated before you run the report.

To run a report without first editing it select View > Schedule Reports from the application menu. Select the name of the report writer report that you want to run and then click Select.

If you are editing the report in the report writer, click Run (top right).

You will need to select the period range over which you want to run the report. If the selected range is outside the range over which the schedule has been run, then you will be given an error message.

When the report has finished running, XPAC will display the following output:

If you chose a window output, the results will be displayed in a window.
If you chose the database output, XPAC will display a message indicating that the results database has been created successfully.
If you chose a CSV file, XPAC will display a message indicating that the CSV file has been created successfully.
