Use the Activities tab to define the activities that should be included on the Gantt chart, as well as the shading or colouring to use for records corresponding to each activity.
XPAC will display the legend title on the Gantt chart whenever a legend is displayed. By default, the legend title will be the same as the activity name, but you can change it. Position your cursor on the required activity in the legend title column and enter a new description.
All activities in the current project will be listed on this Activities tab, including both productive and non-productive activities. The activities cannot be deleted from the list, but they can be set for inclusion or exclusion in the Gantt chart.
On the bottom left of the Activities tab is a check box labelled Use Colours to Identify Activities. If this box is not ticked, the third column on the Activities tab will be labelled Hatch. If it is ticked, then the third column on the Activities tab will be labelled Colour.
If you have chosen to use hatching to identify which activity each bar represents in the Gantt chart, you should assign a pattern to each of the activities that are being included in the chart. To assign a pattern to an activity, click the Hatch column for that activity and a range of pattern options will be displayed. Click on a Fill Pattern and a Fill Colour and then click on OK to select it.
If colour is being used to denote the resource and hatching is being used to denote the activity, then it may be best to leave the fill colour set to black.

Note that the list includes both productive and non-productive activities.
