The Alignment tab lets you specify the text positioning of selected cell/s, for example, you may want to centre text, or merge selected cells.
The functionality described in this topic is similar to the formatting options available in an MS Excel spreadsheet. |
You can access cell alignment (while in design mode) by:
• | selecting Format > Alignment. |
• | right-clicking cell/s and selecting Format Cells. Then click the Alignment tab. |
The table below describes the options available in the Alignment tab:
Option |
Description |
Horizontal |
Lets you specify the horizontal alignment of cell contents. |
Vertical |
Lets you specify the vertical alignment of cell contents. |
Wrap Text |
Lets you wrap the text onto multiple lines. This can be useful if text exceeds the area of the cell. Note: If text exceeds the cell area, XPAC automatically truncates the cell contents. |
Merge Cells |
Lets you merge selected cells. Note: This options only becomes available if you currently have multiple cells selected. |
