You can quickly change the formatting a data sheet by using the AutoFormat feature. XPAC lets you apply an existing format template, or create your own.

To apply an existing formatting template:

1.Open the database that you want to apply a data sheet formatting template to, for example, Main.
2.Click Format Mode on the Tools toolbar.
3.Select Format > AutoFormat. The AutoFormat window displays.
4.Select the formatting template that you want to use from the Format Name drop-down list.
5.Click OK.

XPAC applies the formatting settings to the database data sheet.

To create your own formatting template:

1.Open a database data sheet, for example, a calendar database.
2.Click Format Mode on the Tools toolbar.
3.Select Format > AutoFormat. The AutoFormat window displays.
4.Type the name of the new formatting template in the Format Name field.
5.Select the cell/s in the sample data sheet that you want to apply formatting to, for example, Title0.
6.Format the selected cell/s:
a.Click Format Cells. The Format Cells window displays.
b.In each tab, specify the formatting settings that you want to apply to the selected cell/s in the sample data sheet, for example, Font.
c.Click OK.
7.If required, adjust the height of selected row/s:
a.Click Row Height. The Row Height window displays.
b.Specify the height of the selected row/s. Select either:
i.Auto to let XPAC determine the appropriate height for the row/s based on the font size; or
ii.Custom, then specify the height in the specified Units.
8.Click OK.
