There are facilities available in the Preschedule Table for checking the records that are in the list and for removing any errors. These facilities scan each of the records in the table to check whether any of the activity precedence rules are violated. The activity precedence rules are set in the Productive Activities window.
For example, there may be a precedence rule which says that activity X is a precedence for activity Y. This means that the percentage of activity Y that is released cannot exceed the percentage of activity X that is mined. These are the rules that are checked for each record in the Preschedule Table.
From anywhere within the Preschedule Table window open the right click menu and select either Check Entries or Remove Errors.
If there are no errors in the Preschedule Table, then this option will display a message saying "No Errors or Warnings Found".
If errors are encountered then this option will display an error report, such as that shown below.
This option will identify the records in which there are errors and it will remove the error. The following corrections are carried out:
• | If activity X is a precedence for activity Y, then the percentage released for activity Y should not exceed the percentage mined for activity X. If it does, then this option will reduce the percentage released for activity Y to be equal to the percentage mined for activity X. |
• | The percentage mined for any activity should not exceed the percentage released for that same activity. If it does, then this option will reduce the percentage mined to be equal to the percentage released. |
