You can create a data sheet filter by creating a new data field display.

Note

Each data field display that you create will only be available for the database that you are currently viewing (i.e. the data field display will not be available for other databases).

To create a data field display:

1.Open the database that you want to create the data field display for.
2.Click Fields on the Fields toolbar. The Field Selection window displays.
3.Specify the layout for the data field display. Either:
a.Click Normal to place data fields in column headers and database records in rows; or
b.Click Transposed to place data fields in rows and database records in column headers.
4.In the Data Field Selection window, use the buttons to move fields from the Master Sheet to the New Sheet.

If required, click Blank to add a new blank line to the data sheet.

5.Click OK. The Field Selection window redisplays.
6.Type a name for the data field display.
7.Click Close.

The data field display is available from the Fields toolbar.

Information

If required, you can edit an existing data field display by selecting the display in the Field Selection window and clicking Edit. Otherwise, you can also rename, copy and delete data field displays as required.
