If you have selected to display records in the database using a data field display from the Fields toolbar, you can (depending on the data field protection settings):

If a data field display contains a field twice, when you edit the value of the record in one field, XPAC will not update the value of the duplicate record until you refresh the window (for example, exit then reopen the database). there are two or more instances of the data field in the display. XPAC uses the updated value for that data field.
