Database range toolbar

The database range toolbar is used to control the database records that are displayed in the structure tree (and, therefore, the data sheet). The toolbar is shown below.

The database range toolbar is made up of two components as follows:

•	The Ranges button is used to access the Range Selection window. From the Range Selection window you are able to create, delete, edit, copy and rename database ranges for the current database. The Range Selection window can also be accessed by selecting Edit > Ranges from the application menu.

•	The database range drop-down list is used to display the current database range and to change the database range. To change the database range, click the arrow on the right of the box to display a list of all existing database ranges. The database range may be changed by selecting from the list.

Changing the current database range

XPAC displays the current database range, for the active database window, on the toolbar to the right of the Range button.

Use the database range drop-down list to change the current database range. Click the down arrow to access the list of existing database ranges, then select the one you want.
