To delete data fields from your database, you should access data field design.
It is possible to delete either one or a number of consecutive data fields at once. To do this, highlight the data fields that you want to delete by clicking the data field number on the far left. There are three ways to delete the data fields.
| 1. | Right-click the highlighted area, then select Delete Row from the pop up menu. |
| 2. | Select Edit from the application menu, then Delete Row from the drop-down menu. |
| 3. | Press the Delete key on your keyboard. |
Existing data
It is important to note that, when you delete a data field from your database, the existing data remains attached to the existing data fields. The only thing that will change is the data field numbers. The data attached to the deleted data field will be removed.
