The Grid tab lets you determine grid line options for the plot, for example, if you want to display grid crosshairs in the print layout, or specify the labels that display for the X and Y axes. The table below describes the options in the Grid tab:

Option

Purpose

Enable Grid

Select this check box if you want a grid to display on the page layout.

Enable Grid Crosshairs

Select this check box if you want grid crosshairs to display on the page layout.

Spacing

Specify the spacing of the grid in project units.
 
Note: By default, grid spacing is set to 1000 for both axes. Setting the grid spacing to zero prevents XPAC from printing the grid and associated labels.

Labels

Specify the X and Y axis grid labels.
 
Note: By default, grid labels are set to mE (metres East) for the X axis, and mN (metres North) for the Y axis. These labels indicate the units for the grid and the direction of each axis.
