Managing charts

If required, you may need to export, print or load a saved chart.

Exporting a chart

XPAC lets you export charts in the following formats:

•	Windows Metafile (.wmf)

•	Windows Bitmap (.bmp)

•	JPEG Bitmap (.jpg).

•	Chart File (.vtc).

To export a chart to a file:

1.	From the chart, right-click and select Save As.

2.	Navigate to the folder in which you want to save the file.

3.	Type a name for the file.

4.	Change the file type to one of the options available from the Save File As Type drop-down list.

5.	Click Save.

To copy a chart to the clipboard:

1.	From the chart, right-click and select Copy.

XPAC copies the chart to the clipboard. You can view the chart in any Windows application or other application that supports the Windows clipboard.

You can print a copy of the current chart.

To print a chart:

1.	From the chart, right-click and select Print to display the Print dialog box.

2.	Make any necessary settings and click Print.

Loading a saved chart

To load a saved chart:

You can load a chart that was saved from the chart utility as a *.vtc file. If you do load a new chart, XPAC will discard any existing chart.

1.	From the chart, right-click and select Open.

2.	XPAC will display a Windows Explorer window with a list of all .vtc files in the current directory.

3.	Select the file you want to load.

Click OK.
