To move a chart element to a new predefined position:
| 2. | Select the menu item that matches the element you want to reposition and click the relevant tab. |
| 3. | Select one of the position radio buttons and click or . |
To resize or reposition objects manually:
| 1. | Click the element (title, footnote, plot, or legend) you want to move (click the edge to resize). |
| 2. | Drag and drop the element to its new location or resize the element using the standard Windows resize method. |

Bear in mind that what you are actually resizing is not the text or plot itself, but the bounding rectangle around the object. Based on the size you make the object, the chart utility may have to resize or clip objects to fit the space.

The chart utility uses the measurement unit specified in your Windows default settings.
