You can save an analysis report to:

your XPAC project
a CSV, XML or PDF file
a storage medium (for example, a hard disk or USB drive).

Saving an analysis report to the project

Click Save Report or Save Report As to save your report. See Analysis report toolbar buttons for more information on functions of each button.

You must add a title to the report before you can save it. The save file will be available from the list that XPAC displays when you select View > Analysis Reports.

Exporting an analysis report to MS Excel

To export your report to an MS Excel file:

1.Click Export to on the analysis reports toolbar. A drop-down list displays.
2.Select either:
a.Export to CSV; or
b.Export to Excel (XML File).
3.In the Windows Explorer window that displays, navigate to the folder in which you want to save the exported report.
4.Type a File name for the report.
5.Click Save.

XPAC saves the analysis report to the exported file type.

To export your report to a PDF file:

1.Click Export to on the analysis reports toolbar. A drop-down list displays.
2.Select Export to PDF. The PDF Export window displays.
3.If required, specify the settings for the exported PDF report:
a.Complete the Layout tab:
i.In the Include items section, select the check box of each item that you want to include in the exported report:
Title
Description
Grid
Legends
ii.If you selected the Legends check box:
In the Legend position section, select the position you want the legend/s to appear on the report (for example, Right, Top, Left, Bottom).
In the Legend order section, select the legend order (Top to down or Left to right).

The image below the Legend order section displays a preview of the report layout according to your specifications.

b.Complete the Page Setup tab:
i.In the Paper section, select the paper Size that you want to export the report to.

If you select Custom, you can specify exact paper measurements using the Width and Height fields.

ii.In the Orientation section, select the orientation of the report (for example, Portrait or Landscape).
iii.In the Margins section, specify the margin spacing in the Top, Left, Bottom and Right fields.
c.Complete the Document tab:
i.In the Information section, type the document properties in each field:
Title
Author
Subject
Keywords
ii.If required, secure your exported report. In the Encrypt section:
Select the Encrypt PDF check box.
Type the Password that you want to use for the report.
Deselect the permissions check boxes as required (for example, Allow Printing, Allow Copying, Allow Screen Readers).
4.Click OK. A Windows Explorer window displays.
5.Navigate to the folder in which you want to save the exported analysis report.
6.Type a File name for the report.
7.Click Save.

XPAC exports the report as a PDF file to the location that you specified.

Exporting an analysis report to a storage medium

XPAC also lets you export your analysis reports to a storage medium, such as a local, network or USB drive.

To save your report to a storage medium:

1.Select View > Analysis Reports.
2.Click the report that you want to save.
3.Click Export.
4.Navigate to the folder in which you want to save your report.
5.Type a File name for the report.
6.Click Save.

XPAC saves the report with a *.AnalysisReport file extension.
