The analysis report toolbar lets you work with analysis reports in XPAC:
The table below describes the buttons available from the analysis report toolbar:
Button |
Button name |
Description |
Save Report |
Save the report. You must specify a title to save the report. When you first save a report, analysis reports creates a schema folder with a folder name that matches the original title of the report and it saves a copy of the report in that folder. Each time you save the report, analysis reports overwrites the original report, but the schema folder remains. |
Save Report as |
Save a new copy of the report under a different name and under a different folder. You must specify a new title to save the report. When you click Save as button, Analysis Reports will create a new report under the existing schema folder. |

Clear all report information. All card shelves will clear, leaving only the Title (if set). |

Copy |
Take a copy of the Title and contents of the Pivot Grid. You can paste this as an image (not as individual cells) to another application. |

Auto query |
Turn the automatic query function on and off. When in the On position, analysis reports automatically updates the Pivot Grid whenever you add, remove or change information on any card. A blue border displays around the button. When in the Off position, you need to click Execute query to update the Pivot Grid. The button displays with no border. The auto-query function does not read new data from the project. If you update your project data instead of your chart structure, you should close and reopen the analysis report to update your report data. See Working with analysis report data for more information. |
Execute query |
Execute a query on the attributes and measures you have added to cards.
Swap XY |
Swap the cards on the Rows and Columns shelves: rows to columns and columns to rows. This has the effect of swapping the X and Y axis on any graphical output, as well as rows and columns for tabulated data. |
Cards |
Access the Cards menu. You can use this menu to display cards or hide them from view. Hiding a card does not remove any items from that card's shelf. See Using cards for more information. |
