Analysis Reporting Toolbar

The table below describes the buttons available from the analysis report toolbar:

Button

Button name

Description

ar-save

Save Report

Save the report. You must specify a title to save the report.

When you first save a report, analysis reports creates a schema folder with a folder name that matches the original title of the report and it saves a copy of the report in that folder. Each time you save the report, analysis reports overwrites the original report, but the schema folder remains.

If you change the title of a report, the save name of the report changes, but it will still be available under the original schema folder name.

ar-save as

Save Report as

Save a new copy of the report under a different name and under a different folder. You must specify a new title to save the report.

When you click Save as button, Analysis Reports will create a new report under the existing schema folder.

ar-clear

Clear Layout

Clear all report information. All card shelves will clear, leaving only the Title (if set).

ar-print preview

Display a preview of the output before printing.

Note

You can only print from the Print preview window.

ar-copy

XPAC Reports Auto Query Button OFF

When in the On position, analysis reports automatically updates the Pivot Grid whenever you add, remove or change information on any card. A blue border displays around the button.

When in the Off position, you need to click Execute query to update the Pivot Grid. The button displays with no border.

The auto-query function does not read new data from the project. If you update your project data instead of your chart structure, you should close and reopen the analysis report to update your report data. See Working with analysis report data for more information.

Note

If the automatic query function is on, this button has no effect.
