Cross tab reports are a type of database report, used to present database information in a format that is useful for reserves reporting. A selected range of records are grouped according to the value of one of their data fields (called the Interval Field) and the cumulative value of another data field (called the Frequency Field) is reported for each grouping.
In the following example report, the coal reserves (tonnages) in each of the Benches (100 through 105 are shown, but the unclipped report goes to 136) have been divided into increments of Total Ore Au Grade. The Total Ore Au Grade is the Interval Field and the Total Material Tonnage is the Frequency Field.
