Setting up an automatic database legend

You can use an automatic database legend to let XPAC set up the legend for the spatial data plot.

1.	Select Automatic Database Legend from the drop-down list. Options to define an automatic legend display.

2.	Complete the settings as required (see table below).

The table below describes the settings that you can use to set up an automatic legend:

Minimum Value

Specify the minimum value. Either:

1.	Select Auto to let XPAC determine the minimum value; or

2.	Manually specify the minimum value:

a.	Select Manual.

b.	Type the minimum value that you want to use.

c.	If required, deselect the Shade Below check box if you do not want to shade blocks of a value below the minimum value. Otherwise, XPAC shades blocks according to the colour of the colour palette button.

Note: If required, you can click the colour palette button and specify a colour.

Maximum Value

Specify the maximum value. Either:

1.	Select Auto to let XPAC determine the maximum value; or

2.	Manually specify the maximum value:

a.	Select Manual.

b.	Type the maximum value that you want to use.

c.	If required, deselect the Shade Above check box if you do not want to shade blocks of a value above the maximum value. Otherwise, XPAC shades blocks according to the colour of the colour palette button.
