The Input Path screen contains a data sheet that contains Main database source records and in path delays. You can specify which columns display in the data sheet for each Input Path in the schedule.

To select fields to display in the data sheet:

1.Right-click in the data sheet and select Path Fields.
2.Select fields to Add and Remove as required from the Available fields and Displayed fields lists.
3.If required, reorder selected fields by selecting a field and clicking Move Up or Move Down.
4.If required, click Reset to revert your changes.
5.If required, create a new field:
a.Click New Field.
b.In the Database Fields list, select a field.
c.Click OK.
6.If required, select a field type, for example, Database value.
7.Click OK.

Available fields

You can add the following fields to the Input Path data sheet:

Field

Description

Number

The number in the first column is the step number within the input path.

Scheduling Task

The Scheduling Task column displays the path name for source records or the words "In Path Delay" for in path delays. You can type in the record's full path name, however for large databases and long input paths this is impractical. It is better to use the Insert Block option on the right click menu or a spatial data plot to create the input path.

The record numbers can also be displayed in this column, as a prefix to the record path name. From the Main database window, go to Tools > Database Options and tick the option Display Record Number in Structure. The next time an input path is displayed the record numbers will appear in this column.

As its name indicates, this check box is also used to display the record numbers in the structure tree of the database.

Activity

The Activity column specifies which activity is to be scheduled for the specified source record. The activity can be changed using the drop down list. If creating the input path using Insert Block or a spatial data plot, then the activity can also be set within these options.

For in path delays, the activity will be a non-productive activity.

Entered% / Delay/ SP Qty

If the scheduling task is a deposit record, then the Entered % is entered in this column. It is the percentage of the record that is requested for scheduling for the specified activity. In the output path, this percentage may not be completely scheduled as the record may already be fully or partially scheduled in the mined out quantities, the preschedule, by other resources, etc. If creating the input path using Insert Block or a spatial data plot, then the Entered % can also be set within these options.

If the scheduling task is an in path delay, then the Delay time is entered in this column. It is entered in days, hours and minutes. If the scheduling task is a stockpile record, then the stockpile quantity (SP Qty) is entered in this column. The units will be the same as the maximum stockpile size field.

Released% / Time Base

If the scheduling task is a deposit record, the Released % is entered in this column. It is the percentage of the following activity that is to be released and available for scheduling, when the Entered % of this activity is scheduled.

For example, if a line in an input path is Activity 1, the Entered % is 70 and the Released % percent is 50, then this means that when 70% of activity 1 is scheduled, 50% of activity 2 will be released and available for scheduling. Activity 2 will be released while activity 1 is being mined, so that when 35% of activity 1 is scheduled, 25% of activity 2 will have been released.

If the Entered % is set to 100, then the Released % can only be set to zero or 100. If the Released % is set to zero, this means that none of the following activity is released until all of the current activity has been scheduled. If the Released % is set to 100, this means that the following activity is released at the same rate as the current activity is scheduled.

The Released % cannot be set in the Insert Block window. By default, the Released % will be 100%.

If the scheduling task is an in path delay, then the Time Base for the delay is entered in this column, namely calendar, roster or operating time.

If the scheduling task is a stockpile record, then this column is not used.

Destination

The destination can be specified for each step in the Input Path. Initially, when you create a new Input Path the destination will be set to Default. Other options can be selected from a drop down list for each step, as follows:

Default - use the Default Destination set for the current resource and activity.
Product - the destination will be a product.
Advanced Dest. - use the schedule constraints, objectives and dependencies to determine the destination. Refer to the Autoscheduler User Guide or the document describing Destination Scheduling for more information about setting up the constraints and rules that are used in the advanced destination selection.
Stockpile - select a stockpile name and the properties of that stockpile will be used to determine the destination.
Dump - select a dump name and the capacity of and dependencies for that dump's records will be used to determine the destination.
Dump Path - select a dump path name and the next available dump block in the path will be the destination.
Classified Field - select a classified field and the value in that field will be used to determine the destination. Note that a classified field that is used to read the record destination must store the destination name in a specific format.

The fields that you selected display in the data sheet.
